Mykhailo Syromlia and Tatiana Bielousova

Mykhailo Syromlia and Tatiana Bielousova’s idea for the project was to establish a sustainable artistic background for the development of a new phenomenon in Ukrainian theatre for children: producing a new performance for babies of 0-2 years in collaboration with Lithuanian artists. During the project Mykhailo Syromlia and Tatiana Bielousova participated in creative residencies in Lithuania (Vilnius Arts Printing House and Kaunas culture centre). As a result of the project a new interactive performance for children was created and presented in public in Lithuania (Vilnius, Kaunas). Three professional artists from Ukraine (performers Mykhailo Syromlia, Tetiana Bielousova, Iryna Zapolska) and two Lithuanian artists (choreographer and director Birute Baneviciute, costume designer Medile Siaulytyte) participated in the creation of the performance.

We were able to present the work for the first time in four cities of Lithuania, and received feedback from local artists and parents of children who were spectators.
