Eleonora Bonino

Maria Malvina Borgherini, the director of the Master in Moving Images Arts, encouraged Eleonora Bonino and helped her plan this mobility experience, thinking it would be extremely fructuous for her research and artistic activities. During her Master Bonino built a particularly strong artistic connection with the German artist Peter Welz, who invited her to work in Berlin with him and some of the famous choreographers he collaborates with, namely William Forsythe and Sasha Waltz. During her Master, she also met Giulio Bursi, who works as a dramaturg at the Volksbühne Theatre in Berlin and in a studio called “Atelier Impopulaire”. He offered her the possibility to work with him and to share some of his projects at the Volksbühne Theatre. During her stay in Berlin Bonino attended masterclasses and workshops of contemporary dance, such as the ones provided by the Tanzfabrik Centre, in order to pursue her research on movement.

I was able to enter and understand better the production art world, through visiting exhibitions and going to openings where I had the chance to meet the artists.
