Alica Minarova

The theatre company OSMOSIS, led by Eurepides Laskarides, will premiere their new tragic comedy ELENIT in autumn 2019. Euripides Laskaridis, director and performer, uses notions of ridicule and transformation to explore the perseverance of humankind in the face of the unknown. The company OSMOSIS invited Alica Minarova to spend four rehearsing weeks with them to experience the creative process of Laskaridis first hand. At this stage of Minarova’s career she wanted to learn by observing other artists, since she had been working on her own creations until now. Laskaridis has a different approach to choreography than what Minarova had been exposed to in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Germany. In order to make a smooth transition between finishing her master studies and doing professional work, she needed to change her environment.

I consider this mobility to be one of the most influential steps in my career. I am looking forward to share gathered knowledge in form of worskhops in Berlin and further on in Prague and Lausanne.
